Sponsor A Horse!
here are a few options!
- Make a monthly donation to the horse of your choice – we have several sanctuary and retired horses who will live their lives out here at DreamCatcher. Of course they have ongoing needs for food, farrier and medical care and we appreciate any amount you can give to help towards these costs.
- Groom & love a horse sponsorship- only certain DCHR horses are available for this program please check availability before applying $200 a month for 2 visits a week This is suitable for someone who just would like to be around horses and enjoy them.(under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). You can pick a horse and come groom and love on that horse. (days/times by arrangement)You can groom them, bathe them, take them for a walk around property, give them lots of love and attention and treats! The horses really look forward to seeing their ‘families’. This Grooming Sponsorship helps us to pay for your chosen horses feed and care.
- Farrier Sponsorship- every 6 weeks every horse has their feed trimmed by our professional farrier, sometimes in medical cases they even get shoes. You can choose to sponsor this ongoing farrier cost of the horse of your choosing. Trims cost $40 and a trim with front shoes costs $125 this sponsorship helps keep every horse healthy from the hoof up!
You are required to have a grooming and handling lesson prior to signing a grooming sponsorship – available for $40 for an hour by appointment.
